Keep your eyes out for a very nicely updated resuscitative thoracotomy guideline from Ron Tesoriero et al. This was sorely needed and now represents contemporary practice.

WesternTrauma Thomas Sutton, MD, MCR OHSU Department of Surgery important to pick up a key point- many struggle to truly balance their transfusion ratio despite intent. this center puts a person on the job to ensure the ratio is maintained. great concept and important for those centers struggling to get going with whole blood. #WTA2024
