Whitley Award winner Purnima Devi Barman, members of the ‘Hargila Army’, and their daughters were invited to the NKTV studio today for an hour-long talk show interview to discuss her Award for her incredible movement to empower women through protecting the Greater Adjutant Stork.
Speech training is an important part of building confidence before the Whitley Award winners' face their big moment of addressing the 500-strong in-person audience at London's Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). 2024 Winners received coaching from consultant Olha Madylus with support from the WFN team.
