They appreciated work done by Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) in turning zoo into a wildlife rescue centre & said they would support efforts to build a permanent sanctuary for bears and a visitor info centre for public. They also thanked FOUR PAWS International for coming to Pakistan to help rescued bears!
The international team of vets brought by FOUR PAWS International have given best medical treatment to rescued bears, saved from “dancing” on streets of Punjab. These bears are cruelly abused with broken teeth & nose rings. 2 more are coming from Sargodha. We hope to give them a safe future

Aneela was recently rescued from bear dancing in Gujranwala by Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department under direction of Marriyum Aurangzeb who is taking a strict stand against wildlife trafficking!
