We've almost come down from our Ola Gjeilo #Mozart high (selling out the Sheldonian is always special!) but this Saturday we will be pencils in hand again, ready to workshop THIS little lot! Eric Whitacre John Rutter Jonathan Dove Kim André Arnesen Will Todd and more!

Just a short session to begin with - very wet but we made it back to pub and warmed up with Good Fayre 😀🎼😀

Very happy to be walking St Cuthbert’s Way from Melrose to Lindisfarne over the coming week. Reminds me that I wrote a whole oratorio about him a few years ago! Really looking forward to the landscape and fellowship and I’ll give some updates as I go! 🎼

Spare a thought for chorus, orchestra & music staff at English National Opera, for whom a new era begins today, one of reduced contracts & huge uncertainty, both professional & financial. ENO won’t be seen at the Coliseum until next season, depriving London of great opera thanks to Arts Council England
