This morning, she met with the Ministries of Gender and Foreign Affairs to discuss internal & #multilateral efforts towards peace.
1/2 : HC Thornley and Amb Jacqueline O'Neill hosted a meeting with civil society representatives African Leadership Centre, REINVENT Programme, University of Nairobi, FEMNET, UN Women Kenya and Norway in Kenya.
Amb Jacqueline O'Neill met with representatives from various #Kenyan Ministries to hear how they are implementing their National Action Plan and supporting counties in the drafting and implementation of their regional action plans on #WomenPeaceSecurity .

In Mekelle, Amb Jacqueline O'Neill and team met with African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security Monitoring and Verification team. They discussed the implementation of the 2022 peace agreement, protection of civilians, and the importance of women’s full and meaningful inclusion across all elements.
