Lady Bears (13-6) knock off Junction 7-5 in 1st rnd of District Thursday behind Kaylyn Dixon’s big day. The senior lefty tossed a CG w/ 8 k’s & was 3/4 w/ 2 2Bs & 3 RBI. Anna Fitzgibbon was 3-for-3 w/ a solo HR. calie Allie McWhorter & @Abbi_Graceee each had 2 hits.

JT Grace had 2 hits & 4 RBI, Cale Edmonds hit a 💣 and Garrett Cowart & Ethan Gardner combined to handcuff DeWitt in the Bears’ 10-1 victory. Owen Stover added a double and 4 RBI for Woodlawn (9-0)

Lady Bears fall 52-44 @ Parker’s Chapel Friday, snapping their 5-gm win streak. bailey parker led the way w/ 16 points and 8 boards. Makenzie Lasiter had 10 w/ 7 boards and 4 assists. kaelie reece had 9 points and 8 boards in the losing effort for the Lady Bears (6-2; 1-1).

Luke Roberts & Clayton continued their assault on SEARK Tuesday, combining for 50 for the 2nd time in 24 hrs to lead the Bears (1-5; 0-1) to a 64-49 W over Hermitage. Roberts had 30, a night after scoring 34. Ashcraft had 20 after dropping 16 a night ago. The hit 10 3s.

The Lady Bears held on for a 45-44 win @ Hermitage Tuesday, moving their win streak to 5 gms. kaelie reece led the way w/ 8 & 16 boards. bailey parker had 12 & 8 rebounds. Makenzie Lasiter scored 8 & hit game-preserving FT’s to seal the deal for WOODLAWN (6-1; 1-0).

Luke Roberts’ game-high 34 points weren’t quite enough Monday, as Woodlawn (1-4; 0-1) couldn’t get a shot off as time expired and lost 79-76 to Magnet Cove. Clayton had 16 w/ 7 boards and 5 assists while Jaxson Martin added 13.

A valiant comeback fell short in the Bears’ conference opener as they lost 53-43 to Lafayette Co. Jr. Luke Roberts scored 23 w/ 7 rebs. in the losing effort. Clayton chipped in w/ 10 pts, 6 rebs & 6 steals. Bears trailed 31-12 in 3Q but cut it to 38-34 early in the 4th.

Lady 🐻 (4-1; 1-0)open up conf W/ 70-45 win over Laf. County. Vanessa Vinson scored 23 w/ 8 assists & 5 boards. kaelie reece had 9 pts & 8 rebs. while Makenzie Lasiter scored 9 w/ 7 boards & 5 assists. bailey parker added 11 pts & kaylyn faith dixon had 6 w/ 7 rebs. & 3 dimes.

Lady 🐻(3-1) pick up a big win @ Poyen 66-50. They trailed by 6 @ half & blew the doors off in the 3Q (25-6)to take control. Makenzie Lasiter had a monster gm w/ 20 pts, 4 rbs, 7 asst, 5 steals & 3 blocks. bailey parker had 14 & 10, & Vanessa Vinson chipped in w/ 13 & 7 dimes.

Lady Bears (2-1) pick up a 59-47 road win at Horatio Saturday. Makenzie Lasiter led the way w/ 18 pts followed by Vanessa Vinson w/ 13 & calie w/ 10. The 🐻 made 9 3s & blew the game open early w/ 21-0 run.

Senior boys fall 79-51 to Maumelle Charter. Jr Girls lose 37-22. Kat Dixon scores 7, Lynlee Yarbrough added 6 and Lily Fae McWhorter was a force on the boards for the junior Lady Bears.

Lady 🐻s open up in style winning 51-12. bailey parker scored 14 and Makenzie Lasiter joined the 1,000-point club in the victory.

Lady 🐻 move to 3-1 w/ a 9-2 win over Monticello. kaylyn dixon tossed a CG w/ 7 ks & 0 ER. She also went 3/4 w/ a 2B & 4 RBI. calie added a 3/4 performance w/ 2 RBI. jay & Katelyn Holleman each added 2 hits.

Bears (1-2) get on the winning track, down England 8-3 behind 2 💣 from Jaxson Case. The soph. was 2/2 w/ 5 RBI. jaydon.manes was 3/3 w/ 3 runs. blake conner got the W, working 5 frames w/ 8 ks. Ethan Gardner threw the final 2, striking out 4 w/ no hits.
