Yesterday our WymondhamHighAcademy Year 11 rugby side had an excellent hard fought win against a spirited, well organised Reepham PE side. It was a physical and bruising encounter of strong runs and big tackles. We now take on AHS_PE in the county Cup final next week.

A really close game today for our WymondhamHighAcademy u15 rugby team v AHS_PE in the Norfolk Schools RFU plate quarter final. After a brilliant 15-15 draw the game was settled by a penalty shootout where we came out as narrow winners. A hugely impressive game from both sides

Another busy day in the Department…

Year 7/8 girls were over at HenlowAcademyPE in Bedfordshire for a national cup game. Paige opened the scoring with a superb volley before the hosts equalised. A strike from distance from Georgia sees us into the next round with a 2-1 win!⚽️

This afternoon we went to see La Guernica at the Reina Sofia museum, had a walk around La Gran Vía and played some games (almost entirely in Spanish). Another 19,000 steps today!

On the way back from Stansted after a great few days! This morning we went to see where the Spanish equivalent of the tooth fairy lives, and we bought some traditional sweet treats from the nuns at the monastery before heading to the airport. ¡Adiós Madrid!

Really strong performance by the year 9/10 girls tonight in the English Schools' Football Association cup against WymondhamCollegePE. Goals from Jorja, Isabelle, Sienna and Aaliyah secured a place in the next round

This morning we went to El Rastro market for a spot of shopping and we are going to have lunch in a traditional Spanish restaurant before hitting the museums WymondhamHighAcademy
