Massive weekend in the North East standing shoulder to shoulder with local Palestinian actions.

Following the recent developments in the ongoing escalation in Palestine, we were out supporting two massive demonstrations.

The protesting and marching for a ceasefire continues. Yesterday we joined well over 1000 people in a march across the Tyne river. We marched against the fascist Israeli government, we marched for Palestinian’s right to exist and defend themselves, we marched for humanity. 🇵🇸🚩

Yesterday we joined 13+ local organisations alongside hundreds of residents of the west end to march in solidarity with the people of Palestine, to shut down the Rafael factory and to demand immediate sanctions on the settler colony of Israel.

Today, YCL North East joined the march to pay respect to the now over 40,000 dead Palestinians in Gaza as well as those still in the struggle for their freedom

40,000 murdered by the Israeli Occupation Forces by British bombs and British weapons of war.

Yesterday, while the bourgeoisie parties of britain touted their hypocitical commemorations of the armistice, we went out and joined nearly 1000 local people to demand for a ceasefire in our time - we called for the government to stop supporting the horrific acts of genocide

Yesterday a few of our members travelled down to Manchester to participate in the demonstration against the #CPC23 alongside thousands of people who turned up to protest various issues including the cost of living crisis and NHS pay.

We will never submit to Tory rule!

Last weekend we were out greeting the new students in jesmond collecting food for @foodandsolidarity
All donations will be included in their weekly food parcel distributions!
