Very excited to be part of team SAMBAI. This represents the largest single NCI/CRUK award for cancer inequities ever. For Yemaachi Biotech to be one of 2 African partners (and the only biotech) responsible for centering large part of this work in Africa is both humbling and exciting.
We’re beyond excited to reveal that team SAMBAI, led by Dr. Melissa B Davis and including Yemaachi Biotech has been selected by Cancer Grand Challenges to receive up to $25m to take on one of cancer’s toughest challenges - cancer inequities.

“As I left the airport, the pungent smell of a preventable disease lingered in my memory. It still serves as a powerful reminder of the work that needs to be done to combat #cervicalcancer on the continent.” - Emmanuella Faith Amoako #Blogpost #Unfiltered
