Our gardeners have been busy today planting the seedlings we’ve grown from last year’s seeds. Hopefully we’ll have some flowers in a few weeks to attract the bees 🐝

We empathised with Sulwe using our red hat thinking skills & put ourselves in her shoes. We used our Voice 21 oracy charters to work in trios, take turns, summarise and feedback. We listed emotional vocabulary to use in our story writing Voice 21 Oracy EmpathyLabUK Welsh Government Education

Yr1 have been using their perspective taking #empathy skills to write Nefertiti’s diary entry. Today we took inspiration from Annemarie Anang ‘I AM NEFERTITI’ out now!’s book I am Nefertiti, we started up a band! We had instruments from all over the World such as a Kalimba from Africa,a rain stick from Chile, panpipes from Peru & an Ocarina from China! We have been #enterprisingcreativecontributors
