To celebrate International Women’s Day 2024, some of our Youth Councillors were in Kirkcudbright yesterday taking part in the #ElectHer Roadshow with D&G Council Members and have travelled through to Stranraer to take part in the 4 Nations Young Women’s Conference #IWD2024

A great day for our new North Ayrshire Council MSYPs meeting East Ayrshire South Ayrshire Council & Dumfries & Galloway Youth Council MSYPs. The South -West team were future planning for campaigns and committees as well as getting to know each other 📢 SYP

Today, the new Youth Council is meeting with Elected Members from Dumfries and Galloway Council to have the 4th Joint Meeting themed around young people.

There’s some big reports being brought to today’s meeting & workshop’s focussed on the top issues identified within 10,000 Voices #YouthVoiceDG

My journey with SYP isn’t quite over yet though, I’m still the Convenor of SYP TERA Committee 🌳🚙🐑 and there’s some exciting things coming up for me in the next few weeks and months ☺️

Today is officially my last day as an MSYP for Galloway & West Dumfries 🥲
