I’ve watched the OSINT community come together many times to assess the soc media detritus of mass shooters.

1) The evidence is rarely as clear as in Dallas. Aric Toler pulled it together well and quickly.

2) Yet I have NEVER seen such a fierce far-right denial campaign.

I’m fascinated by Twitter applying “community notes” to ads. It’s a legitimately bold move that I originally assumed was oversight but is clearly not and is truly novel.

with all the wild catastrophizing around , I'm grateful that my talented Jigsaw teammates were quietly building these LLM safeguards behind the scenes for the last 5 years, now used by Google Meta OpenAI medium.com/jigsaw/reducin…

Valuable takeaways here on what the Hamburg shooter represents - his ideology had been misdiagnosed as 'muddled'. But as Dr. Cynthia Miller-Idriss notes, this muddling of anti-democratic and supremacist attitudes IS the extremist ideology

Are other tools beyond Claude trained with 'Constitutional AI'? This is the right direction, but can we ensure the principles are developed rigorously rather than randomly (as described here)? medium.com/mlearning-ai/p…
