Today, the 50th anniversary edition of Harmonia´s first album 'Musik von Harmonia' is out as gatefold double LP.
I am again reminded of the joy and inspiration I experienced back in 1973 working with my Harmonia partners Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius in Forst.

Looking forward to our return to Scotland on 29 June when we´ll be playing at the Big City 2024 festival in Glasgow alongside Mogwai, Slowdive, Beak> and many others.

A big shoutout to Hans Lampe, who smartly doesn't do social media. In Melbourne, we celebrated our 100th show played together! Hans 'the machine' Lampe, always and 'für immer' playing the drums with endless energy and making people dance with joy.

A huge and heartfelt 'Thank You!' to all the people that made my Australian tour so memorable with their smiles and joy. I enjoyed every minute playing to the crowds in Sydney, Perth, Hobart, Brisbane and Melbourne, and I hope to return some day in the not too distant future.

On #RecordStoreDay2024 , April 20th, Harmonia's 'Musik von Harmonia' will be released on @groenlandrecords as a gatefold vinyl including the original album (which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year) and a second vinyl with reworks and original songs inspired by Harmonia.

Damo impassioned generations of musicians, but most importantly, he was a kind and gentle soul.
Here is when I was fortunate to meet him and to perform with him at a Jaki Liebezeit memorial concert in Cologne in 2018. Rest in peace, Damo. May your spirit keep on inspiring us.
