Professional Standards Authority have imposed strict conditions on renewing @bacp ‘s accreditation. BACP have to commission an independent expert to rewrite their guidance on suicidal patients, and to show that all training courses conform to NICE NG225 standards. By 28.06.24

Just landed in the Maldives for our honeymoon & heard my name being called. Turned around to find a lovely lady introducing herself. She remembered me from a self-harm awareness session for #parents I delivered in a Gloucestershire CC #school last year! Small world!

Though we can't change the waiting list times 4 CYP's to receive support, a little training on this topic can go a long way in building school staff confidence in having conversations around self-harm in the interim.
