Funeral notice for Miss Margaret Robertson:

1100 on Thursday 2nd May at Sefton Road United Reforned Church in Morecambe.

Margaret Robertson has no family, if anyone can attend would be lovely.

She was 102, a former PMRAFNS McIndoe nurse,looking after Guinea Pig Club injured

CAFE 77 UPDATE
The work to fix the roof of the café building has gone well but the team will need a day or two to clean up and get everything back up and running again. Café 77 will be returning to normal service on May 1st. Thanks for bearing with us at this time!

FRIDAY THE 13TH - 80 YEARS ON
Today (well, tonight) marks 80 years since Halifax LV 907 - aka Friday the 13th - went out on her first operation, and a legend was born. The story of this remarkable aircraft is told on our website.

A few weeks ago Café 77 was closed while exploratory work was carried out on the damaged roof. The repair work will run from 8th April to 26th April - the Café will be shut for this time period. We will be providing alternative provision for food and drink on site.

BUCCANEER DAY UPDATE
Sad news - due to technical reasons we won't be doing an engine run on the Navy Bucc on April 6th. However, there will be cockpit access to one of the three Buccs! We're sorry for this disappointment but it's beyond our control.

Ilkley & District u3a #Voyagers visit to Yorkshire Air Museum was wonderful; I find aircraft fascinating, so I was in my element. Didn’t manage to see everything so must plan another visit. Yummy meal in the NAAFI

RUMBLING THUNDER
It's Thunder Day this Saturday - March 16th - and we're getting everything together for what is looking like a busy day. Tickets are available online or on the gate, although it will save time if you buy via the website (no need to queue).

The Museum is now closed for Christmas - reopening Thursday December 28th. We'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We're on the final run to Christmas, our last day being tomorrow, 23rd. The museum reopens Thurs 28th. We'd like to thank everyone who has visited this year, all 71,000 of you. Thanks also to the volunteers, staff and trustees who make YAM what it is.
