Can't let the entertainment value, er...I mean 'fabric of the game', be compromised for 'highest prioity of athlete health and wellbeing'.
With little/no transparency in injury data, it's great to have individuals like NRL PHYSIO keep tabs on what's happening at the coalface.
Great to be the guest on ABC Melbourne The Conversation Hour today. Really heartening to hear people fall in and text to supporting the work we are doing and generally are now taking this issue far more seriously. Podcast of the show is in the link below.

Jimmy Smith Show Alan Pearce I know mate. I listen to Alan every chance I can ;-)
He's been on my podcast twice. Great guest with a very important message.
I suggest that Jimmy Smith Show should get Alan Pearce on as a guest to discuss CTE, as he is a legit expert in this field.
Perfect follow up to this story and a cause that should be championed from the science perspective, and not from a 'protecting the sport' perspective.
Great insight into the challenges all local sporting club face with dealing brain injuries as incredibly brave story told by our former Seaford FNC skipper Rourke Fischer.
Our club had 12 🧠 injuries in 2023 - 4mens, 5womens Aussie Rules & 3 in Netball (14 in 2022).
