Today we finished the hedge laying and started the clear up. We're making a dead hedge in so the path is less wide and so we can woodchip effectively. We're using bits of the thinned layed hedge for the dead hedge. Should also be good habitat and a fungal superhighway!

We should be able to do something with this data for our labyrinth interpretation strand Albion Millennium Green with mammalian biomass of humans at 34% and cattle 35% that's roughly equal, a resonance with the Minotaur—half man, half bull—it's a symbol of the 'problem' in the labyrinth.

🌳 💦Hedgerows planted on steep contours & high densities can reduce runoff rates up to 50%, preventing flooding &improving the water quality of our rivers & streams. This is by improving hydrological soil processes: increasing percolation, filtration & evapotranspiration 🌳 💦
