Seen a few people ask how this slips through the cracks and I think there are a few important things to consider.

1. Generative AI is progressing fast. Unless you’re actively following the industry, it’s hard to keep up with the current models and their capabilities.

Cronkite School we’re reaching an era where this is unavoidable. Courses and trainings on how to detect AI need to be considered. We, the editors at SP, thought we had a good gauge of when to detect it. It’s not nearly as simple as it seems and students deserve training.
