Spent the evening Bernie Grant Arts Centre hearing from the phenomenal Hakim Adi for Bernie Grant Trust, with a brilliantly chaired panel by dotun adebayo with History Matters and Young Historians Project alumni - including the fantastic A to the S who does some amazing work as part of the NPG Schools team!

Our Schools History Conference on the themes of empire and migration through National Portrait Gallery portraits today included talks and seminars with Hannah Cusworth- is away for a bit, Dr Sarah Moulden, Tomiwa Owolade and A to the S from Young Historians Project and History Matters with students asking some fantastic questions!
NEW: A group of students are taking legal action against the University of Chichester - University of Chichester - alleging discrimination & breach of contract after it terminated the landmark 'History of Africa and the African Diaspora' course while they were part way through their studies.
