Transcultural CBT Definitely not a usual approach, but if you're talking revisiting a causal experience for certain beliefs (sense of responsibility, of self, shame etc) then possibly but indeed, it wouldn't be first line intervention.

Interesting The Guardian article with a wildly misleading headline. In summary the writer found the Cognitive part of CBT less helpful for OCD than the Exposure Response Prevention part.

Given that most will have experienced racism & other forms of discrimination in accessing health care ask about that with care. Support people to challenge this. Consider the role of discrimination in onset of MUS too.

In summary, get alongside the health beliefs of ppl from minoritised groups with LTCs, find areas of common goals between them & the team, understand the family system & it's role in health, how does faith & spirituality impact health behaviours?
