Transcultural CBT Definitely not a usual approach, but if you're talking revisiting a causal experience for certain beliefs (sense of responsibility, of self, shame etc) then possibly but indeed, it wouldn't be first line intervention.
Transcultural CBT The Guardian Is the cognitive part of CBT for OCD really prepping for the exposure and response prevention part. I do not think you can Socratic it away, the lived experience of ERP and behavioural experiments is what brings about change?

Interesting The Guardian article with a wildly misleading headline. In summary the writer found the Cognitive part of CBT less helpful for OCD than the Exposure Response Prevention part.
