95% of young Black people report that they’ve heard & witnessed racist language at school. These issues are ongoing. That’s why I’m so glad that we held the APPG Race & Education roundtable at UK Parliament this week, to highlight how critical the issue truly is. Thank you to all who came🙏🏾
Black Britons are owed compensation & this cannot be swept under the rug now that #WindrushDay is over. Yesterday, we launched our Enact Equality #windrush campaign & sent a co-signed letter to the Home Office to demand that they take greater action, now. politicshome.com/news/article/l…

The University of Manchester The University of Manchester has partnered with Cowrie Scholarship Foundation to offer scholarships to support Black African & Caribbean heritage students from socio-economically under-represented backgrounds. Providing free school meals (FSM) to all secondary pupils is feasible & brings many potential benefits, finds a new University of Bristol study.
