After almost five years at LeicestershireLive I will be leaving in February. It’s been a privilege working for my hometown paper where I’ve made lifelong friends and great memories.

There was said to be 82% more access tickets sold this year after the last event but fans say they were let down

I’ll be in court today as a woman is sentenced for ending her pregnancy beyond the time limit during lockdown.

It is understood that she was not able to attend a scan, and did not know how advanced it was.

She pleaded guilty to the offence, which carries a max. life sentence.
