Lady Grey Ghosts @athletesparent Craig Skinner You say, you’re an awesome teammate! Being a great teammate is as important as being the star on the team. A great team has to be cohesive with a good culture, bad teammates can ruin a good team.

@athletesparent Is Lou around today’s players to make that statement? I find today’s athletes as good of human beings as anytime in the past. Maybe he’s talking about their parents.

@clintreynolds73 @athletesparent Craig Skinner Nice suggestions. Often times we don’t give those parents, whose kids may not get in the game, enough tools to use after games.

Most sports bars in New York City suck at being sports bars. But there are some exceptions that take their sports seriously. These spots have lots of TVs and enough seating to ensure that you won’t be standing, and they show everything from the World Cup to college water polo.

Say goodbye to excessive sweating during summertime. These jeans are lightweight, super breathable, and they allow for flexibility on even the hottest summer days.

@athletesparent A lot of high school athletes specialize and end up being average in their specialty. Seen it too often as high school coach for going on 40 years. And so many regret not playing another sport when they get older. The truly special athletes are not hurt by playing another sport.

@athletesparent Powerful advice to COACHES who look back 10 years removed from their COACHING sports
1) Team culture is everything
2) Spend time with all athletes
3) Follow through with discipline
4) Follow through on your word
5) Value the defensive players and worker bees as much as stars

Sports parents, you may be directing your kids to be the best student-athlete out there, but if your kids have other dreams let them realize their dreams before they realize yours. @athletesparent
