I.O.Me Innovation Labs The team together with the Kenya Red Cross Isiolo team, had a courtesy visit to Isiolo County Youth Innovation Centre as a project stakeholder. Discussions were geared on how the two organizations could harness innovation and youth initiatives to address the societal challenges in the County.

The Innovation Unit shared activities conducted through I.O.Me Innovation Labs and it's impact, sparking partnership interest amongst the stakeholders on hosting #IOMeCenter in #IsioloCounty . Through the #DiscoverySpaceProgram , the youth will be empowered with modern prototyping approaches.

The meeting was key to share the Airbus Foundation Inschool #STEM program, and Kenya Red Cross Youth thematic areas. The stakeholders discussed critical issues they are addressing in the County, and deliberated on integration of their programs with the Kenya Red Cross #STEM program.

Improper disposal of plastic waste has led to the spread of plastics haphazardly with the majority ending up in landfills and destroying our natural environment posing a severe threat to our ecosystem.
