📖 Jen read her illustrated book ‘A Hero Like Me’ and we all got to share who our hero’s are.

⭐️ Back in Bath for the Children’s Literature Festival, Pamela Butchart was funnier than ever, bringing all her stories to life in this hilarious interactive event!

⭐️ Pamela shared some of the inspiration for her stories, including her hatred for school dinners. 🤢

⭐️ We had a visit from Supertato and their creators Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet and we adventured in time with their new story ‘Mean Green Time Machine’. ⏰

🎶 We had a sing-a-long and even got to meet Supertato himself as we had our books signed! 📖

⭐️ We loved travelling the world with Beatrice Blue! We met dragons, witches, mermaids, unicorns and all sort of other magical creatures as Beatrice shared with us her adventures from around the world. 🦄

📖 We were then treated to a telling of ‘Once Upon a Witch's Broom’ 🧙‍♀️

There’s a dinosaur at the bus stop! 😲

✅ Award-winning poet Kate Wakeling shared her new collection for younger children and we were swept up in rhyme and rhythm and lots of giggles! 😄

⭐️ @dapsdraws joined us twice last week to introduce us to ‘Speak Up’ a powerful story of peaceful protests to save a library.

✍️ Dapo is a talented illustrator and once he read us the story, we got to have a go and drawing some of the characters!

⭐️ We joined Neill Cameron, the incredible cartoonist for this amazing workshop where we were taught how to draw AWESOME comics! 💯

⭐️ We learnt so many facts about family in the animal kingdom from Jenna Herman and Lucy Reynolds, and discovered just how truly wonderful it is to be US!

📖 We were treated to hearing their wonderful book ‘We Are Family’ and we can’t wait to grab a copy of our own!

⭐️ We stepped into Ancient Rome last weekend with award winning author Chae Strathie who told us all what it might have been like to grow up in Rome (hint: it wouldn’t have been pretty)!

From washing your clothes in wee, to eating dormice and much more! 🤢

Drama! Panic! Chaos! And a LOT of fun with the BRILLIANT Pamela Butchart and Izzy and the gang at today's Bath Children's Literature Festival 🌟 there's werewolves and beasts and DEMON dinner ladies and they're all on the LOOSE in Bath! 👩‍🍳😱

⭐️ We heard from three incredibly talented YA writers: @anikahussainwrites, @tia_fisher_writes, and @devyani_nk who shared their stories!
