I can multiply a binomial times binomial and get a binomial.

Or a binomial times a trinomial to result in a binomial.

Is it always possible to multiply polynomials with any # of terms and end up with a binomial?

(m terms) x (n terms) = 2 terms?

Does m or n have to be even?

looking for YET MORE materials on trig and inverse trig? here are some that i just wrote up (screenshots below):

the #3 problems are all intended as challenges; see e.g. the following graph for an interesting(?) example:

here is a convenient (?) collection of domain, range in degrees, radians for trig and inverse trig functions [as compiled by grade 10 students!]

in alg 2 w trig we did trig (degrees), polynomials, exponentials; then looped back w inverses in reverse order: logarithms, radical functions, and now inverse trig (using degrees *and* introing radians!)

in case it's of use? trig & inv trig domain & range

the goings on at Columbia and other U.S. campuses (or at least, their flat representation to those afar, like me)
does not seem
directly connected to
the goings on in the middle east (layered, nuanced, & horrible to those who are here, like me)

Last week Matt Parker had me join one of his 'Evening of Unnecessary Detail' events in New York. I invited 🎵 Tim Blais 👨🏻‍🔬 to come down and we had a bit too much fun writing a parody of 'Ain't No Sunshine' about the twin prime conjecture.
