Elon Musk Was going to say 'Thanks for Grok!', then saw this and am glad I sold all my Tesla shares a couple weeks back

Most of the people I grew up around were minorities. Family and friends. Most of them are better people than Trumpers are. Most of them are better people than most of us

Great news that fertiliser companies start to switch to green ammonia. The potential is huge and the cost will continuously decline: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

mike andrade Mark Z. Jacobson We need an open sourced car.

Maybe use a mega cast to stamp most of the vehicle in as few parts as possible. Then have 3D printers print another 10% of the vehicle (maybe even the wiring).

This is not really that out of reach in 20 years.

My two takeaways from yesterdays landmark publication in nature:

1) US shale gas and LNG are much worse for the climate than we thought.

2) We know this since we can replace industry estimates with objective areal measurements.

Why pay yearly costs for expanding transmission lines on the grid when we can make our current lines more efficient instead?

Think of it like an energy Internet.

Graphite based thermal storage seems really promising.

Lasts for 30+ years and is cheaper than batteries. But much less efficient than batteries though.

Better conductivity than concrete or bricks.

Mark Z. Jacobson Environment America Laura Deehan Steven King Environment California Mark, remember those numbers I crunched on my solar array last year.

Basically I'm paying 5 cents per kWh over 30 years vs PGE raising rates roughly 10% per year!

This gives me a low risk 15% YoY ROI.

Everyone gets this math wrong. Even Lazard's.

It gets over 100 miles per charge! Plus I can plug-in at campsites.

Other than my RV, and mandatory air travel once a year, I burn little FF.

California introduces bill to reevaluate rooftop solar net metering

Want to remove C02 from the atmosphere? Increase the surface area of rocks!

Maybe even create a magma pump 😁 Plasma drilling might help with that.

About half the excess is added to battery storage, used after sunset.

The other half is exported to nearby western states.

Note fossil gas and nuclear were also produced at the same peak times, but their production was not needed since 118% of supply could be met by .

PG&E is at it again. They want to charge a 'utility tax' between $30 and $70 bucks a MONTH!!!

I donate to the Solar Rights Alliance to stop this type of selective unfairness that is hurting solar in CA right when we should be expanding it.

Nordic states should take notice! H2 storage can backup their grids in the event that power to RE oases falter during critical weather.
