Quite the line-up earlier today, for Bessie 🚂 🦡...

A rather shaky start with a couple of minor train faults and some extra shunts required after problems last night, but we eventually recovered the service and it was as great a show as usual!

I am helping the owner of 45132 (D22) reinstate working headcode boxes to the loco.

Most Saturdays I can be found in a garage on my knees, cleaning crusty spares into usable spares, we need to build 3 units from scratch and I believe we have the parts.
