Today we had an amazing time at Broadoak Academy in Weston, running our Breaking The Mould games design workshop as part of their enrichment week. Our VR and VFX course leader, Danny, took the students through the exciting journey of character design and creation. 🎮

The Level 3 Film and TV crew have been involved in a major BBC drama (TBA) and were pleased to discover that our ex-students Scott Weavers (pictured left) is a floor runner on the production. Scott graduated boomsatsuma Level 3 Diploma in Media in 2019 and has not looked back!

The award-winning Head of Photography, Sam Fordham, secured a range of activities to give students hands-on experience behind the scenes at Photo|Frome.

On Monday, 13 students from Year 12 Creative and Digital Media and Film and Photography courses had an amazing afternoon exploring the Arcadia site at Glastonbury. They participated in welding and aerial workshops, learning and gaining valuable experience!

Our Year 13 Games, VR and VFX students celebrated the completion of their course by gaming away! With PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC gamers in action, it was an evening to remember.

Our Year 12 Creative and Digital Media students had a fantastic time visiting the UWE Showcase 2023 degree exhibition at Arnolfini yesterday!

It was great for them to get insight into all the degrees on offer and to have an inspiring look into what their future could hold.

We are showcasing AI being requested to think like famous Dyslexic Thinkers to support students facing mainstream learning techniques.

Katy Hundertmark (Foam Magazine) shared her insights and expertise with our students in The Tobacco Factory. She engaged them in a workshop on the processes of editing, designing and producing magazines - an invaluable experience for them to prepare their own magazine prototypes!
