What's better than publishing a paper? Publishing it next to another paper from your former postdoc's lab. Congratulations, Manuel de la Mata & Team! Full stories on how miRNAs get degraded at doi.org/10.1093/nar/gk… & doi.org/10.1093/nar/gk… Nucleic Acids Res FMI science
The courage of this woman scientist standing up for herself and for what's right reminds me of what Jennifer Doudna said when asked, by a female student, for career advice:
'Walk into every room like you OWN THE PLACE.'
BRAVA! to this person and all
#WomenInSTEM for doing so.
Don't get mad, get equal.
In 2023, its so sad to see this account of #discrimination & #misogyny in science.
Probably every woman and minority who reads this will have far too many of their own similar stories.
Its way past time for this to change..
