The project suffered major setbacks like covid, and took a lot of dedication from Rafa, Elza and Dachi. We're over the moon seeing how this labour of love is being received.

Important and informative article in the latest issue of BB, documenting the rapid and stark disappearance of Willow Tits from former stronghold just up the road in Barnsley Birders area. Hat tip to Geoff Carr Sophie Pinder & Jeff Lunn
We’re lucky to see Willow Tits locally. But in this study in the latest British Birds the population went from 70 territories to zero in a few years. No suggestion that habitat change or competition from other species was the cause. What’s going on I wonder?
