Florida SRO was 'dry firing' handgun in his office when gun fired Monday afternoon. Bullet went through the office wall, across the school hallway at shoulder level, through a classroom wall, and lodged in a bookcase.

Students were inside the classroom when the shot was fired.

Reason #24601 I hate “this too shall pass.” For one thing, many things don’t pass (chronic illness, chronic mental health concerns, etc). For another, it’s not comforting when we know that just bc something “passes”/ends (say, abuse) doesn’t mean there’s not a devastating cost.
