What's happening at UCLA, UCI, and USC should be a reminder to everyone that racism, repression, and empire are no less pronounced in the West. This idea that California is a bastion of freedom should be well laid to rest now.

I know it’s hard to keep up with these villains, but all of the efforts to limit our ability to speak truth and facts about our capitalist imperialistic society and its impact on the world are connected. Militarized restrictions on campus organizing included.

Cop lied (what else is new?). Charges dropped against most of those arrested.
Are there any consequences for lying cops?
If UVA students must face the consequences of their actions, why can’t cops?
