The council includes leaders from different nonprofits across NYC who will serve to provide guidance on policies impacting nonprofits.

Through their Rapid Re-Housing program, YWCA Mohawk Valley serves homeless survivors of domestic abuse through rental assistance and case management services.

As the son of an immigrant mother, I was proud to sponsor yesterday’s #somos workshop on the immigrant experience across New York. The 75th AD is home to many new neighbors and these organizations provide critical support and care!

On Friday, we led a panel at #SOMOS : “How the Immigrant Experience Differs Across NY.'
The discussion raised the urgency to support immigrant communities, highlighted the stories of nonprofits, and emphasized how nonprofits and government must work together to improve outcomes.
