i only watched a few entries from this year's osaka asian film festival but iti mapukpukaw/the missing was arguably the best one for me.

relevant theme, differentiated medium, & just masterful storytelling all around. so worth coming in completely blind, too.

Iti Mapukpukaw for Osaka Asian Film Festival~ Watched it the 2nd time around and still had the same thoughts and feelings. Appreciated the storyline better ahhh pls watch it on Netflix 🥹

I have finally watched Iti Mapukpukaw (The Missing) and it really deserved a standing ovation. From the story to every single aspect of the film is just phenomenal. Kudos!
