Scientific pet peeve. Could we please stop using the unnecessary words 'aimed to.' So instead of saying 'This study AIMED TO examine' just say 'This study examined' or if permitted, 'We examined' cuz in reality the study itself isn't capable of examining anything. Just sayin'
