📣Yesterday, the Ontario Government carried #Bill173 : Intimate Partner Violence Epidemic Act through a second reading & deferred it to the Justice Policy Committee, meaning that they have recognized what we have been calling for them to name: Intimate partner violence ( #IPV ) is an epidemic.

We need to believe & support survivors.

We don't need more committees, studies or hearings. The work has been done & the demands are clear. The time to act is NOW.
