My music listening throughout April. I spent the first two weeks with a bunch of new releases, then spent the back half of April primarily with the discographies of Incubus, Pillar, and Marianas Trench.

Indeed, “Lights Out” by Benjamin Daniel and Chase Tremaine is so far the best track I’ve heard this year, and that’s no insult to the many great tracks I’ve also heard this year.

As someone who works alone far too often, I cannot overstate how much I love musical collaborations and how much I appreciate Benjamin Daniel for allowing me to write wild additions to his songs. His amazing songwriting has inspired me to write some of my favorite guitar riffs.
