Here is my statement following the release of the latest numbers from SCC ROV:

“The registrar of voters is making tremendous progress and continues to count tens of thousands of votes that are still outstanding. We want to make sure voters are heard in this important election.”

We knew this race would be close. We’re hopeful it will end in victory. At this hour, votes are still being counted. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the generous support I have received over the past year.

Cindy and the crew are still going! Our volunteers are a hardy bunch. We will be knocking right up until 8 p.m. when the polls close. Thank you, Scott, Dianne, Cayce and Emily, and all the other volunteers helping GOTV!
