If you missed it, yesterday we announced the filing of two landmark civil rights cases on behalf of children. The cases expose some of the darker and most senseless injustices that I've seen in my career--and say a lot about our legal system and our society.

We filed a class action case on behalf of children in Michigan alleging that the owner of Detroit Pistons adds to his fortune through a conspiracy with Sheriffs to stop kids from seeing and hugging their jailed parents on theory that poor families will buy more expensive calls.
