Big win for our environment and water in the NYS budget! The Clean Water Infrastructure Act was fully funded at $500M! This funding will help treat for toxic PFAS chemicals, replace failing sewage and water lines, combat harmful algal blooms, and protect water at its source.

The Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) was fully funded in the final NYS budget at $400M! EPF projects improve water quality, protect clean air, conserve open space, save family farms, bolster recycling programs, revitalize waterfronts, build community parks, and so much more!

Happy #EarthDay ! NYS 2024-25 budget includes full funding for critical programs that protect our water quality, land, air, and New Yorker's health! Thank you Governor Kathy Hochul and the NYS Legislature for prioritizing these programs in the state budget!
