The govt dismisses patient safety concerns re: physician associates by stressing they've studied a bio-science degree prior to their 2-yr PA course.

Now it turns out those first degrees include English lit, history, nutrition, anthropology & ... homoeopathy.

Once PAs are able to prescribe, they will be used to replace doctors. Well, not entirely. Normal people will be treated by PAs in the NHS. Those who can afford it will go private and be seen by Doctors.
