I think main issue amongst ALL athletes is club sports keep them so busy, they can not get to a consistent, proper S&C program.

It's a shame!

Pausing reps creates stronger and more explosive athletes through the static/dynamic contrast method.

Pause your benches, squats, rows, pulls, etc.

Take advantage of those method to enhance accelerative qualities needed for more dynamic athletes.
