Providing livelihood for youths and women of #SouthSudan is of key importance for Cordaid South Sudan. Our coffee value chain project, funded by Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, does that, using #PPP formula, in Nzara and Yambio counties.

Dikes like this one are the only barrier that separates many citizens of #SouthSudan from being affected by another flood. Cordaid South Sudan has moved one of the primary health clinics to a dry area to keep assisting IPDs

#SouthSudan is battling the worst floods in decades which robbed people of their homes, animals and livelihoods. Cordaid supported 6,500 families in Unity and Jonglei with food, water treatment, shelter and non-food items (incl. protection against mosquitos and reptile bites).

New World Bank report features Cordaid South Sudan and our partners' (@SPARKorg & Agriterra) work on transforming agriculture in @southsudan in a nexus way. We support of community-based services and the development of private initiatives such as seed companies, agro-dealers, etc.

During a civil war, Bentiu State Hospital was vandalised. In 2016, Cordaid renovated it. Since then, Cordaid South Sudan and HPF South Sudan have been saving lives and preventing disabilities. Below, our surgeons are placing a split-thickness skin graft to heal a chronic wound.

#vaccinesaveslives Cordaid
CordaidSS supports the roll-out #COVID19 vaccination across #SouthSudan . We’ve trained over 80 health workers of South Sudan Government to inoculate the communities of Wau, Yambio, Nimule, Torit, Bentiu, and Chukudum.

@CordaidSS celebrated #WorldRefugeeDay by opening a new maternity ward in a remote #MabanCountyHospital . This is the biggest hospital in the northeast part of #SouthSudan , serving both refugees from Sudan and host communities. Thank you Dr. Evan Atar Adaha and UNHCR South Sudan!
