Was a fun few days @ #EuroHPCSummit2024 & hats off to GhentCDHer julie birkholz who was part of the Extreme Scale Applications panel this morning discussing HPC use through the lens of SSH research & cultural heritage a minority user with lots of potential.
Last week, we kicked off a new Gent Verrijkt project together with #ArchiefGent . Volunteers will describe more than 3600 historical post cards, using the #IIIF crowdsourcing platform Madoc.

Today we’re at the lovely Plantentuin Meise for our SSHOC-VL partner day. Christophe Verbruggen & julie birkholz opened this 1-day event, followed by presentations from the different SIC coordinators & developers (from GhentCDH, platform{DH}, KU Leuven Research, /instituut voor de Nederlandse taal/, DIGI & many more)!
