Elijah Stenman For sure. If I looked at the top 100 schedules since 1997 in this metric, probably all 100 are WIAC teams. Bethel & St. John's are:
A) close to Wisconsin,
B) willing to schedule WIAC schools, and
C) good enough to raise the schedule difficulty

FAFSA has been a mess this year 😵‍💫

Ryan Scott NCAA Division III They only looked at three years of data and thought, 'looks about right.'

The people who I've talked to who were shown the cmte's presentation said the math was way over their heads, and they weren't given straight answers to any of their questions.

Further, coaches are blindsided when it comes to scheduling. No warning for next season and no information to schedule thereafter. We're going to see at least two years of chaos before coaches understand the system. This could've been done so much better.

The problem is not NCAA Division III adding a computed selection system or even a committee doing so by fiat, the problem is timing and lack of feedback. Without a broad consideration and conversion, decisions are made without all relevant information. That's the problem. #d3hoops
