Risks to patients not ‘fully managed’ at UHL is no surprise but still shocking. Tomorrow Maurice Quinlivan TD and I will launch a plan for the Mid West. We need 288 additional beds at UHL, a lifting of the recruitment embargo & investment in local services rte.ie/news/2024/0502…
.Mary Lou McDonald asked the Taoiseach today to end the dangerous health recruitment embargo. He refused asking ‘where does it stop’. It stops at safely staffed hospitals and local health services. It stops at delivering better health care. People deserve better.
The Taoiseach refuses to correct the Dáil record when asked to do so by David Cullinane T.D.

Their families brought the truth home for them and those lost will forever be remembered. Denise Mitchell TD
