Here is my review of David Graeber's final book, *Pirate Enlightenment, or the Real Libertalia*, published in The Nation. The book is brilliant and a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

it is wild to watch people become so alienated from their labor they've come all the way around to interpreting the the types of work from David Graeber's Bullshit Jobs as some sort of capitalist realist virtue and that casts Sisyphus's torture as a self-rewarding success hack.
