I sure do miss Hindman Settlement in the early morning mist, and all my Appalachian Writer's Week family. Sending a big shout out to the students in my poetry workshop who laughed, cried, and worked their asses off to write breathtaking poems. I'm sending love to you all.

I’m in AppWritersWorkshop withdrawal. I’m grateful for the workshops (@m__worthington’s and Doug Van Gundy’s), good food (I gained 5 pounds on homemade whoopie pies), fantastic readings, and the writing community I have always yearned for. Next year, Hindman! You can’t keep me away!

When they make it illegal to get an abortion in Wv and make it harder to get gender affirming care- The Women’s Health Center opens a new location right over the border in Maryland to give us access to both. Cumberland in June. We will find a way WV and they are punk rock AF.
