Stanford recently held one of the largest skull base courses in the nation for its very own residents. Residents explored multiple techniques including extended endoscopic endonasal resections and open skull base approaches. Absolutely incredible experience! DrJFM - Juan C. Fernandez-Miranda MD -

More good work coming from Cambridge Endocrine Molecular Imaging Group on the use of 11C-methionine PET in the management of acromegaly - to my mind the best indication remains post op, when weighing up whether to go back in, as it can discriminate residual or recurrent disease from scar tissue.…
